The ITV cameras this week will be at Newmarket, Ascot and Redcar with a total of eight races to be shown live.
Newmarket’s busy Autumn period continues with their Sun Chariot Day. The first of their three live races will be the Premier Fillies’ Handicap over 1m2f, followed up by the October Auction Stakes for two-year-olds over 6f. The title race of the meeting, the Sun Chariot Stakes, is the last race covered by ITV from the track, and could see the final outing for John & Thady Gosden’s Inspiral who was victorious in this last year.
Redcar chip in with the £150,000 Two-Year-Old Trophy, which will be the seventh ITV race of the day.
Ascot have a strong card in what is their final day on the flat before British Champions Day. The Rous Stakes, a listed race, is followed by the Cumberland Lodge Stakes and the Bengough Stakes, both of which are Group 3 contests. The most valuable race of the day at Ascot, the 7f Challenge Cup Handicap, closes the show.
