The Scoop6 is a Totepool bet that is usually available each Saturday but can also run throughout big meetings such as the Cheltenham Festival. The idea is to pick the winners of the six selected races and if you do, you could win a share of that jackpot. If nobody wins, the money carries over to the next week.
That’s not all, if you have six placed horses you can win a share of the smaller place pool, and if you are lucky enough to get all six correct, you get the chance to win the Bonus Fund by picking the winner in the bonus race the following week.

Four legs of the Scoop6 on Saturday will come from Doncaster with the remaining two legs at Chester. Willie Mullins' 7/2 favourite, Love Me Tender, was the horse backed however he finished down in 10th place meaning the prize fund, which had reached £106,634.27, rolls over to this week. York will have five legs of the Scoop6, starting with the Strensall Stakes at leg 1. The Melrose Handicap will bet at leg 3 ahead of the City Of York Stakes at leg 4. The Ebor Handicap will be the penultimate leg with the Constantine Handicap the sixth and final leg. Chester's Virgin Bet Supports Safe Gambling Handicap will be the remaining race at leg 2.

We concentrate on Newbury and Ripon for the six Scoop6 legs this week. The five-furlong sprint gets us going, followed by Newbury’s hot seven-furlong handicap, and then Ripon’s Silver Cup. The feature race of the day, the Hungerford, is leg 4, before we finish off with the popular Great St Wilfrid and a Newbury novice stakes.
