There are eight ITV races on the schedule this week with five contests from Newmarket and a further three from York.
It is Future Champions Day at Newmarket with Group and handicap action shown live. The opening race is the Group 3 Darley Stakes and three-time winner John Gosden saddles the favourite, Lead Artist, alongside his son Thady.
Two Group 3s are next from Newmarket in the Zetland Stakes and the Autumn Stakes. One of the season’s most important two-year-old contests is the penultimate live race of the day, the Darley Dewhurst Stakes. This has been won by many a future classic winner, including last year’s victor, City Of Troy. The big betting heat of the day will be the last ITV race on Saturday, the 2m 2f Cesarewitch Handicap.
York is holding their season finale and the ITV cameras will be in attendance for three races on the Knavesmire. A strong field line up for the Listed Rockingham Stakes before the Coral “Daily Rewards Shaker” Handicap and the £100,000 Coral Srint Trophy Handiap.
