Kelso’s Party on the Paddock meeting is the middle fixture of the three-day Ladbrokes Go North Weekend, with ITV set to show five live races from the Scottish track. A stayers’ handicap chase over 3m2f is first, followed by the Listed Ladbrokes (Beeswing) Mares’ Hurdle. A 2m5f handicap hurdle is next, before the big race of the day at Kelso, the £100k Ladbrokes Herring Queen Series Final Mares’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle.
This race was lost to the weather last year but was won in 2023 by the Fergal O’Brien trained Bonttay. He saddles the well fancied Northern Air alongside outsider Leloopa. Race favourite is the hattrick seeking Surrey Belle for Adrian Keatley. The final live race from Kelso will be a 2m1f handicap chase.
ITV will televise three races from Newbury on what is their final jumps fixture of the season. The first is a 2m3f novices’ handicap hurdle, followed by a 2m4f handicap chase. The £55k listed National Hunt Mares’ Hurdle, a Grade 2 race over 2m, is the last of the live races from Berkshire.
The sole live races from Bangor will be the Alfa Aggregates Products Handicap Hurdle, a class 2 race over 2m3½f worth £30k.
