ITV Racing has no fewer than nine live races this Saturday. Both Premier Racedays at Ayr and Newbury are shown, as Scottish Grand National and Greenham Stakes Day are both staged.
The live action spans the 1:10 at Ayr up to the 3:35 at the same venue and everything in between. The Scottish Grand National is the final live event, while the key trials for the 1000 & 2000 Guineas at Newbury come at 2:00 and 2:35.
While most eyes are on the jumping action on Scotland’s west coast, Newbury’s top Flat races are set to give us a major insight into the future. As well as the all-important Dubai Duty Free and Greenham Stakes however, there is top betting action in the Spring Cup and some real quality in the opening Finest Surprise Stakes.
As well as the National, Ayr runs the Scottish Champion Hurdle and the Novices’ Champion Chase. Willie Mullins brings a strong team as he looks to secure the Champion Trainer title. We begin with a high-quality Premier Handicap Chase.
