Imperial Cup Day at Sandown will have four races televised on ITV. The first to be broadcast will be the European Breeders’ Fund Betfair ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle Final, a Premier Handicap with an £80k prize fund.

The second live race from Sandown will be the Imperial Cup, which is again offering a £100k bonus to the winner if they are also victorious at the Cheltenham Festival next week. Last year’s winner, Go Dante, is well fancied, with Bo Zenith for Nicky Henderson, Lump Sum for Sam Thomas and Batman Girac for Willie Mullins all prominent in the betting. The coverage from Esher will be rounded off by a listed mares’ NH flat race and a handicap chase over 3m.

Wolverhampton have a seven race card on Saturday with their two biggest races on the day to be shown live. The first is the £50k Lincoln Trial, with the Lincoln itself to be held at Doncaster at the end of the month. The second race from Dunstall Park will be the £60k Lady Wulfruna Stakes, which has been a listed contest since 2007. Heading the betting is Jabaara for Roger Varian who was runner-up in the Falmouth Stakes at Goodwood back in August.

Just one race will be covered from Hereford, the DragonBet Backing Our Opinion At Cheltenham Handicap Chase, which at £15k is their most valuable race of the day.
